i am a philadelphia sports fan. i have been a philadelphia sports fan for 24 years, 18 of which i remember. the past 10 making some of the worst memories a sports fan can have. each year brings new hope, each year brings new disappointment. i am fully aware that being up 2 games to 1 in the world series is NOT a championship.
i am a penn state football fan. penn state loses to ohio state usually. 0-7 at the horseshoe since joingin the big ten as of yesterday. today, 1-7. penn state beat ohio state at home and is a few wins away from what could be a national championship appearance.
would it be possible the same year the phillies win the world series is the same year penn state wins a national championship? if this is possible, could it be possible more championships come to philly. could the eagles win a superbowl this year? the flyers? sixers? kixx? um, whatever other lame sport we have? some nascar driver from philly? i dunno...what if everything goes right this year. what if? what will i do?
how will i deal with...not disappointment
