me, pops: conversation

"...and there were several in there
i had plenty, so i didn't need to go back to home depot
but ya know maybe if i put a 3-way in the kitchen it'll make..."

i think he's talking about wiring. when did i lose all focus? concentration? those wet leaves are dangerous.

"...we're going to have to use deadmen to hold up the..."

this truck rides real smooth. too bad its only rear-wheel drive. we're talking about something else now i think though. deadmen. that's a cool word for old pieces of wood.

"running from the kitchen to the diningroom. or what's the diningroom now. that way we can be more flexible. more convenient."

saturday. it's saturday right, yeah, saturday. he's home. there was some college ball on earlier. wonder how ol' states doin.

"...your help later with the drywall. what time do you work again?"

"oh, 5. 4:45 really" he asked about work tonight i think. did i ask about the wiring at some point? why did i do that, that was stupid. my eyes itch. i wonder if its going to rain tonight.

"emailing cj and he said he didn't even get up until 2, missed most..."

i didn't realize i had to take such a massive shit. we have to hurry home...he's looking at me. i think he asked me a question. crap.

"yeah"

how did this conversation even start

those wet leaves certainly are dangerous ... but the ol' Sable came through.

I'm still pretty sure that was a dream.
